Lillian Necakov was born in Belgrade, (former) Yugoslavia, and grew up in Toronto. She is the author of Polaroids (1997) and Hat Trick (1998), among others. Her work has appeared in anthologies and magazines in the USA, Europe, China and Canada, including SurrealEstate: 13 Candadian Poets Under the Influence (2004).
