David McFadden lives and works in Toronto and is the author of numerous books of poetry, fiction and non-fiction. He has been nominated for the Governor General’s award twice (1984 – The Art of Darkness; 1988 – Gypsy Guitar). He is currently short-listed for the 2008 Griffin Award for his book Why Are You So Sad.
